I don't think I finished that one. Basically figured out "buy Bitcoin, government ruins everything" and it started to feel like a lot of redundant material to convince people something I already knew.
His others are good though.
there seem to be some interesting sections on reserve currency collapse, global trade problems, and US/China trade wars that are worth skimming (he makes it really easy to skim the important stuff).
also re-reading Chapter 13 of nostr:nprofile1qqsw4v882mfjhq9u63j08kzyhqzqxqc8tgf740p4nxnk9jdv02u37ncpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9uju6mpd4czuumfw3jsz9nhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wsq3yamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wpskwtn9wvql3tqm Broken Money, which is like a condensed master class on the current moment.
I got 25% in on audiobook and couldn’t continue. He seemed to repeat the same thing over and over. I didn’t find it too informative but maybe it’s an eye opener for some?
I think it's the way the book is written - it seems well designed to be read at whatever pace is desired and actually retained.
you can see it in the below picture: the red dot is for important points (the idea being you can go through the book reading ONLY those points and get the main gist), the bold is helpful for skimming.
so I can imagine that hearing it read aloud you'd get a lot of points reiterated that maybe would have been read differently.
as nostr:nprofile1qqsyvrp9u6p0mfur9dfdru3d853tx9mdjuhkphxuxgfwmryja7zsvhqpzamhxue69uhhv6t5daezumn0wd68yvfwvdhk6tcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcscpyug said earlier today, books kind of suck as a format.

That makes sense! I’m not sure it hooked me enough to purchase the physical book but explains why I thought it was repetitive.
pretty good, Ray!
