I couldn't take it anymore. I was up to using 6 different clients, just to see all of the kinds I need to see, from the relays I want to see, and it's like ugh, just... no.

It'll probably be Kind 01 and 6, kind 1111, long-form (I built a simple Markdown parser), and gitstuff. Wikis and publications are managed by the main feed, so I can skip them, here.

I feel really weird about this because it's my job to test product software, not write it, so I feel like I've left my lane.

It's just that I usually get onboarded to projects to support the development and immediately start testing. But there's so little developed here, that I have to build something, so that I can then switch hats and test it. 😂
Maybe try giving both a fixed percentage of your time. More in what you love obviously but the remaining on what you have to do.

when the http api is stable and functioning it will be a good test bed for the new http api also
