I agree with you though about your last part. Ironically the better things are the less need there is for crypto. The harder the state squeezes the more transactions spill over to black markets and truly permissionless crypto.

If the black market grows enough, mass adoption is possible.

At the moment crypto is too hard to use for most people who just wanna order a small amount of bud.

You mean crypto usage? It's the only place aside from maybe private international transfers.

I don't know what you mean by mass adoption, but the black market is already big enough IMO
