Sam Bankman-Fried only got 25 years in prison for stealing and mishandling multiple billion dollars of customer funds while Ross Ulbricht got two life sentences + 40 years for operating Silk Road. That's just fucked.

The receipts don’t lie. That the prosecution dropped those charges is another thing. Not like they needed more life sentences to drop on him
That’s always been my hangup. I’m not familiar enough with the case, but I think I remember him trying to have someone killed. People forget about that. If that’s true, I mean, kinda fuck him.
With that aside, however, he’s certainly been in prison long enough. Folks get way less time for worse crimes. Free him, but I’ll pause at the hero worship bullshit.
They definitely made an example out of him. If he had actually tried to kill people, they would have had evidence for it. Stop spamming the fake allegations and smearing campaign they tried to attack him with.

lol, investigators sat on a thorve of data and information on Silk Road and had no way of proving that Ross sent those messages. You can believe whatever you want but if he had sent those messages, they'd definitely charge him for it to make an even bigger example out of him.
