How did you learn it all? Did you just get the book and read, or are there better ways?

Congratulations, BTW!

I read through the book. I also used ham radio prep and ham study for testing.

Take the test document what questions you missed on paper or in a spreadsheet. Study those missed questions then test again and document again. Then if you are struggling on a specific section you can reread that section in the book a few times.

You only have to make a 74% which is 26 correct answers so if there is a section that is given you problems you might be able to skip those questions and still pass.

Congratulations! Welcome to the hobby. Great fun (and possibly great expense) lie ahead!

Congrats my man!!

73 amd congrats man. what radio are you gonna get. and remember you can build a quality antenna for way cheaper than you can buy them while learning valuable skills.

I went with the Explorer QRZ-1 with the new ham kit from QRZ. It's a nice little HT but not the best. I am looking for a 10m radio to get in on the HF game. I have been looking at dipoles. I have also been studying for the General class test.
