I just read all the replies (so far) and nobody has answered honestly from a man's point of view.

When a man watches people behaving sexually, he imagines he is sexually interacting with the people he is watching. Therefore, if they are all women, he is having sex with all those women... he can kind of ignore the fact that the women are having sex with each other. If there is any man involved, it is more gay because the relationship between the watcher and that man is ... kinda gay.

So it's actually less gay to watch two women together having sex then it is to watch a couple having sex.

Yes I’m very interested in hearing from males on this, so thank you.

So it’s inbred in men to think that having any sexual thoughts about a man is ‘gay’?

What about the ‘dance scenes’ of years ago? We’d pop pills and enjoy each other no matter what gender they were, the majority of the time the next hour or day we wouldn’t ever consider ourselves as ‘gay’ just having some ‘fun’.

What’s up?

Go back to my original question at the top?

Yeah, I’m not clear what you’re asking?

What I’m asking here is;

- a lot of men get off and enjoy watching two women being sexually together

- some have participated in the past in threesomes others like to fantasise about it

- but they(men)don’t consider this to be ‘gay’ or that they like to admit to watching ‘gay’ porn

- however if you turn this around and have 2 men sexually together then..boom it’s considered gay and men don’t like it.

I am just wondering why it is acceptable to have 2 women being sexual together and not to be considered gay but when 2 men are sexual together then it consider gay?

From my point of view (straight male), two women together is gay, by definition. Straight men enjoy watching/participating with women, in all scenarios, even with other men (with no touching of male bits).

I have no interest, and have no part of me that is sexually aroused by other men, but I am not afraid to show other men affection, by hugging dancing touching etc. and also enjoy the company of gay men, because the ones I’ve known are an absolute blast to be around.

If I were with a woman and another man and I got sexually aroused by that man, then I would consider that to be “gay”.

We just don’t have them. I’ve never had sexual thoughts about another man. Doesn’t mean I don’t remember wrestling around with my male cousins and brothers and getting an erection, but at that age I would get an erection from walking down the street in sweat pants.

I’ve also had dreams about other men, and my wife’s had dreams about her brothers😂. Doesn’t mean I’m gay or that my wife craves incest. I’ve never been sexually aroused by another man, honestly. I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking?

if my future relationship doesnt have this kind of honesty, then i dont want it

There’s no other way to do it. 🤝

Inbred? Having sexual urges about another person of the same sex is the definition of gay. Straight men don't have any such urges. I'm not trying to deny such urges, I literally never had any. Except this one time, a latino guy with moused up wet-look curly hair and bronze skin and a very soft voice came to clean my house. Other than that, never.

See typical… “I’ve never had any, Oh except for this one time….” 🤣

It was a joke. You ladies don't believe we are being honest. We might as well have some fun with it.

😂

You guys up north must have had a different dance scene to us :-p

I had a few female friends who liked the music but felt ignored, said that raver guys just wanted to take drugs and dance at 120 bpm, so always wanted to go to R&B / Latin clubs instead

I was talking about the Euro and Sydney party scene back in the day!

Very liberal and free!

Ours was liberal and free too... but not in that way. I used to joke about how asexual the culture was. Not that people didn't hook up, but waaay less than other subcultures. (I usually had a steady girlfriend at home, so not a problem).

Did you guys drink alcohol much in the scene? Maybe that's the difference...

No, mainly just chill out drugs, coke, ecstasy that type of thing … had to keep dancing all night then head to the day clubs for more dancing!

This! Cheaper than a taxi :-p

I don’t know about that, to keep going day and night and day and night racked up a lot of drugs and funds 🤣

probably the difference was psychedelics then, it's not that you can't or don't want to do social things it's it's far less interesting

coke and amphetamines and mdma don't make for the same kind of party as one where half the people are on 2 blotters of purple buddha or so... red dragons... DOB, psilocybin

There's a difference between identity and activity. You can do some gay stuff and still not consider yourself a gay person. But yes, sexual thoughts about the same gender is a pretty gay activity.

Ok, please advise what are the ‘gay stuff’ that you can do and not be gay?

Well he could be gay, or both be gay.

They could also be straight but in that moment, a little gay

But they could also be gay!

Yes they could but the same action could also by taken by completely straight men

Guess we will never know.

I'm a gay

I’m pleased to hear that.

I have a lot of gay friends and a few family members 💜🫂

I'm looking for a relationship

Why?

yeah, the psytrance parties i went to it was the norm to just dance, there was a few that did this whole social dancing but most of us were just so out of our minds on acid, mushrooms or mdma and got worked up into such a state that it was usually only in the morning as the sun was rising that we even hardly noticed anything of such nature about our comrades in trance

of course between the dances you would sit there yelling some story to randos right next to the speakers while you were catching your breath haha (that meme about the girl yelling at the dude is a classic scenario in trance parties)

Fun fact: in ancient Rome and prior, there was no concept of "gay" and nobody looked down upon any "gay" behavior. It was just a person experiencing another person.

Fun fact; Greeks actually invented ‘gay’, exactly the same as what you have stated!

In ancient times no one cared what gender you were!

Rome had "prison" homophobia - no big deal if you're a "top", but a major shame if you're a " bottom".

They also greatly stigmatised cunnilingus.

Hellenistic Greeks were very tolerant, by contrast. I like that passage in the Anabasis, where (hetero) Xenophon is gently teasing his (gay horndog) friend for the risks he ran for some good looking guy.

Alexander the Great was gay, known fact.

Watching other ppl do it makes you a cuck, js.
