Granted, their use cases and mine are probably vastly different. I've tried to use digital systems to manage knowledge but it is so hard for me to find stuff again. Things like keywords, tagging, categories, etc make note taking burdensome when you're in the moment.
I'm much more casual with a notebook. I can generally find what I'm looking for again by feel and since there was the tactile sensation of writing it down, I connect with it more and sometimes I surprise myself on how I know where stuff is.
Each their own though. I wanted to share in case others were looking for ways to manage their knowledge.
