I think that manyāespecially the largestāare competing for advertising dollars, which incentivizes quantity over quality.
I was embarrassed to be associated with these incentives back in 2022, and the problem (ie, the hype) has only increased.

Totally agree. I will not be going to any events, especially ones run by BINOs who push altcoins and ordinals who happen to have the biggest events and influence.
Still bugs me they promote Altcoins more than Bitcoin in their Asian conferences.

Adopting Bitcoin in El Salvador was extremely high signal. There was also ample meat for purchase. Would recommend.
