My biggest surprise was how deep fiat indoctrination runs. I've always been an independent thinker, and it even took me a couple years to really go through the whole unlearning process, and it was extremely painful. Like a self-induced exorcism and all I had were Bitcoin books and podcasts to keep me going.

A friend put it well recently in conversation. There’s an inherent grift that comes off trying to convince others to get into the bitcoin space because they know you’re a bag holder.
His goal and one I think I’ll adopt is to be a touch point and when they hear about it a 2nd, 3rd, 4th time they will come back interested and wanting to learn.

Yes, a lot of them! My area (and states surrounding) have a lot of active bitcoiners and meetup groups. A lot of citadel type setups are cropping up with local people trading goods (mostly meat) for bitcoin

I urge you to check out OPA (orange pill app) to see if there's a local meetup around you. 5 of our last 6 members found us through that.
If there is no one around you, start your own meetup group, even if it's only you for a while. You might be surprised though.
I found our current group through meetup.com but turns out it had fizzled out and had not been meeting for a year. Got a hold of one person and two of us decided to meet. 8 other people showed up out of nowhere. No idea how they found us but we haven't looked back since. YMMV but you gotta be the change and it truly only takes one dedicated and tenancious person to make it happen.
