Good Morning, it's been almost 2 months since the Samourai Wallet

arrests and there is still no sign of TDev in the justice system.

I want to know why there is no public case filed against TDev (cross-referencing United States v. Ver whom the US is also seeking to extradite), so I sent the SDNY and PJ some more questions.

What if he was the spook all along?

Good morning friend, many blessings

Pura vida. Long live nostr.

TDevD and Ver are political prisoners. I've seen no evidence against either one. Even the case against SW is super weak so far, but he's at least out of the cage for now.

Feds had 10 years to investigate Ver and give notice/negotiation, but instead they pull the big guns now, out of nowhere. TDevD they just disappeared Orwellian-style without due process.

I get strong Soviet vibes from these cases. Western governments still claim to be aligned against tyranny, with a straight face? Has legally protected liberty always been an illusion, with the masks coming off now?

Perhaps he's in witness protection...?

Have an amazin week.

If the Southern District of New York is involved, you have to assume corruption.

Insane we've heard nothing yet.

This is why Samourai fought for Bitcoin privacy, anonymity, and this goes to show the importance of No-KYC sats, as a weapon and shield.

If they can identify you by your sats, the lengths to which they'll go to ensure your loss is their victory is ever-increasing.

What are the consequences for blatantly ignoring the law like this?

If you want to complain about Portuguese state-mafia: https://www.cada.pt/ . The police should have responded in 20 days, see art 16 of https://www.parlamento.pt/sites/EN/Parliament/Documents/Lei26_2016.en.pdf .

Another idea: habeas corpus, any Portuguese citizen can file it, art. 31 of Portuguese constitution, see https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Translation:Constitution_of_the_Portuguese_Republic_(1976)#TITLE_II_Rights,_liberties_and_guarantees . But this could be seen as abuse, they surely have perfect justification for the detention, they just don't feel like providing info. And petitioner can be fined for "manifestly unfounded" habeas corpus petition.

I suspect they have no obligation to communicate in English. If I was Portuguese police and wanted to withhold info with some plausibly-sounding justification, the language would be my first excuse.

thank you!
