Testing the flat Earth idea with broadcast FM radio signals (roughly 100 MHz):
If the transmitting antenna is on a mountain near Los Angeles, for example, at 300 meters high, and the receiving antenna is on a Pacific island on a hill at say, 300 feet, with only ocean in between, there would be no mountains or other obstacles to alter our calculations.
Let us say that the FM broadcast transmitter is running 50,000 Watts (+77 dBm) into a unity-gain antenna, the receive antenna is also unity gain, and the goal is a 20 dB signal-to-noise ratio, good enough for decent high-fidelity reception. This would typically take a signal strength of -73 dBm at the receiver antenna terminals. Therefore, the allowable path loss is 150 dB.
The question then is, how far away could the island be from Los Angeles?
On a flat Earth, you would only be limited by path loss, the horizon could never block anything at surface level or above. So path loss strictly follows the inverse square law rule (loss increases 6 dB every time you double the distance). Running the numbers, the island could be 4,700 miles away and still give you perfect reception.
On a spherical Earth, the radio horizon must be taken into account. For the antenna heights given, the radio horizon is at 60 miles. The signal would still be more than adequately strong at 60 miles, but would attenuate very precipitately beyond that distance. So, on the real Earth, the island could be no more than 60 miles away.
There actually is a Pacific island in just the right place to use Los Angeles FM stations to test whether or not the Earth is flat. It's called Oahu. It's 2,560 miles from LA.
If Los Angeles FM stations are booming in all the time there, the Earth is flat.
If they are not, then the Earth is not flat.

the earth is not demonstrably level. i live next to open ocean and i can see just looking up and across that the same kinds of clouds (which form at a typical altitude) are not visually lining up with the flat surface. i did art as a kid and learned about vanishing points with linear geometry and this is not what you see out there in the world.
in my opinion, if you believe flat earth, i can also say with certainty that you never lived long near the ocean. you can't back up this nonsense when you have seen the way that the clouds are far further up and curve downwards towards the horizon, and that's just one simple way of talking about it.

unlike you, i understand how solid state diode materials work, and they most definitely function on a basis of subatomic particle action, mainly electrons and the valve-like effect on electron flow that enables high resistance in one direction, and low resistance in the other. these are the basis of silicon based semiconductors and the literal decision gates of computer chips.
and yes, their operation is based on quantum physics theory. you can actually replicate the same function with more large, slower things like vacuum tubes using pins and spheres to create asymmetry of conductivity but the whole thing about semiconductors is how small you can make them, and that they require much lower voltages.
I've also worked in the semi conductor industry for over 10 years across many products and know you talking rubbish. The smallest size photo is through an electron microscope. Look it up!

Let's assume that the lights in the sky are physical and are spheres, and this is just an assumption as there is no evidence, imagine that you are in a giant warehouse and look up and you see a spherical light bulb, does that prove that the floor is also a sphere?
"A pool table has balls on it, therefore the pool table is also shaped like a sphere."
Then you have people who have not spent 2 hours doing research discovering that waves, atmospheric conditions, precipitation, mountains and valleys exist.
"But bro, if the world is flat, I should be able to see from Madrid to New York. It should be glass-flat and you should be able to see forever. Fog doesn't exist."
Then they tell you: "Well at least we have a model, you don't even have a model. How does X work on a Flat Earth?"

I don't have to prove how everything works on a flat plain to disprove that the Earth is a spinning ball of the alleged size.
The default position is flat and stationary as you cannot observe curvature or movement and you see the sky moving, not the ground.
You have the burden of proof to prove that it's a spinning ball of the alleged size without falling for logical fallacies and this hasn't been done yet.
You can start asking questions, such as "How did all these seemingly competing countries all agree on The Antarctic Treaty?", or you can be a foot soldier for the establishment.
