Unfortunately I sit on 35-40 of glacial till and water seems to sink through pretty quick. I do collect rain water for the garden though and the garden itself brings a lot of life
if you can clay or plastic line a mahoosive pond at your highest point you will be mooning

you have water 4' down ? dig it at your highest point not the closest to the BBQ. trust me gravity is our friend
