Not trying to proselytize, just curious.
Can you go more into what that practice looks like for you? What do you do, and what are the effects?

I like to do it in a sauna at my gym. Whatever pose I'm comfortable with. No need to be picky. I find the extreme heat creates tension and forces me to try harder and focus my thoughts while listening to the practice videos. As for the effects, it helps keep away any unnecessary stress and focus on whatever I may have to do that day. Easier to deal with people, as well. Tbh, I can be very impatient when it comes to dealing with people (from my years as a manager).
It sounds like, simply put, you're creating stress in your body to weed out distractions, and you use the time to collect your thoughts for the day.
Do you have an end-of-day routine as well?
Nope. Stress was already there. No need for an end-of-day routine.
Do you do self-examination to see how you might become a better person?
That's a pretty core part of my daily prayer.
