Excuse me, Nostriches. GM
I have a question.

Excuse me, Nostriches. GM
I have a question.

Yes.
Let's hear it for the all-of-the-aboves!

This is also my answer. Anything I do, usually will by done with this nym/keypair, but I can see needing to test with a new npub or checking out a new relay with a "burner" before committing to something with my main nym.
The challenge has been allowing anon writes and then immediately displaying them, without it turning into a gross thread, but zap-to-write helps solve for that.
I actually use npub login a lot, as it has a more persistent session than Amber, and I can just anon-zap or upgrade to Amber, when I want to write.
Was thinking, I could have broken Amber sessions fall back to npub-only, and just give them a message that they'd have to reconnect, to write.
This is only a picture of a Pollerama poll because I couldn't get it to work. Maybe opening the preview killed it, or something.
But, it also works as a screenshot. 🤷🏻♀️
Oops let me reproduce it, and fix it
We need to get polls straightened out, so I can add them to the social feed. EVERYBODY loves a good poll.
Thanks for working on the topic. 💪🏻
Thanks meanwhile you can also do something like this, a caveat being the won't be published with your profile.
Npub, zap to write.
ZTW is a cool one, I think, as you can write to relays you aren't subscribed to and make anon zap-comments.
Browser extension, bunker for native desktop, amber for andriod. Zap to write is a fantastic idea, but not really about login/connection?
Oh, I haven't tried Bunker, yet. 👀
I use Amber in the laptop browser, which seems awesome to me.
Well, you connect to the relay over a zap. Could be anon, even if you subscribe to that relay. If you want to be a bit mysterious. 😁
By bunker, I just mean nip46 remote signing via the specified relay rather than other transports available on android that can make Amber signing more efficient. That's what you are doing when signing with amber on your laptop.
On your zap point - you mean pay to read? That could be interesting. I really like that. Stops AI from constantly crawling for free.
Oh, okay, yeah, it's NIP46, but I've only implemented nostrconnect:// and not bunker:// in Alex. Probably isn't much more work, to do both.
It's pay to write a message, but we were thinking about requiring auth-or-LN, to enter the website. Even a 1 sat entrance fee would probably be enough to stop the AI.
All of them really would be really useful. Also GM

We want to be anon-first, to make sure that everyone can publish important documents and can respond to any publication. There are countries, for instance, where people might be afraid to join an online Bible study group. Without an easy anon option, they are stuck lurking.
Great for whistleblowers too
Yeah, we're supposed to be the Nostr WikiLeaks, so we're gonna have to force the anon issue.
You can publish anon on any public relay, but we're actually going to let you write to our own public relays and immediately display it on the Alex landing page, which is much riskier. That's why we need three relay admins.
I mean, that's already the case. The landing page is unfiltered. 🙈
I think and I could be wrong that ZTW would be important then especially for maybe a new anon post then. That way you limit bots dumping garbage and it kind of separates out the chaff.
If not wouldn't it be easy for someone to monitor and bury whistleblower info with other releases to try and push it out of view?
Amber, anon, zap to write
All, nostr-login gives you everything out of the box btw, except ztw.
ZTW is a relay-thing. Any relay can whitelist all zaps.
nip-49 can be good
We're going to have to work something out for native clients, but it's not a good idea for browser apps, as it.
Browser extensions and amber seem easy :)
browser extension or nsec.
Gm
Amber is good
All
I like all besides zap2pay. and tbh i dont have a strong opinion, but definitely an inclusive one. toggle all the options
Given the nature of what I'd be doing, npub on mobile would be a nice-to-have.
Cool, yeah that's in the Amber PR.
Amber for mobile and desktop is the most interesting to me. Browser extension and zap to write (I've never done this, but I'd try it) would probably be last for me. I'm also not big on spinning up burner npubs, but I see the value of being able to.
