It is multiple links?
I don’t block or do anything to links, they should work no Mayer here you paste them. I have shared links through iChat, WhatsApp and email multiple times. Never seen or heard of this issue.
Link previews to direct images (png and jpg) don’t work for me in signal. I didn’t try mp4 or mov files yet.
Links to websites will show something though.
It must be a signal / encryption thing? Can you confirm you can access the link every other way? Post it in a browser and it works?

If just previews that is how signal handles the links..
That’s what I’m thinking.
I’m just providing a 3rd party perspective and barely use signal, much less for linking image URLs.
I tested the same thing with non nostr.build image files so I’m pretty sure you’re right on it being a signal thing and not being your service (which just literally serves up the https requests and provides the images.)

Do you know when that video was uploaded? It is not working/on the server. A few weeks ago I hid about 40GB in videos to troubleshoot large data-out costs.. Could this have been part of that? Can you try future videos and see?
Did you find the cause of the data-out in the end?
Not exactly, still looking into it..
But site usage has dropped a LOT since removing all the videos, while uploads have stayed the same or increased making me think that some of those video files were being used for large video servers, or something like that. My next Bill will tell for sure.. also makes me think that I may only let videos last 1-2 weeks before hiding, unless you have an account then you can alway see videos, maybe something like that someday..
I just looked it up, it was part of the videos I took offline. I added this back, should be completely playable now.

On this topic, I’m so thankful for your service especially for more casual users, and for me when I want a really quick post. But I use my own domain for my “primary” post.
We need a domain hosting service, app combo geared to quick upload of personal media for nostr so it’s owned by users that want more control of their content, for a price. Maybe even combine it with a private relay setup.
I think it would be awesome to treat media uploaders like relays, that you can quickly select from to post.
Have one for confidential, important, or personal docs, one for shitposting memes, one that’s decentralized and secret, etc..
