- links and QR codes (for inviting friends) MUST land on a web based client, and installing a native client will ALWAYS be more steps for the end user.
- The UX for customizable invites and network discovery of recommended clients, relays, follows, and other stuff should REALLY be a polished flow. Most social clients will not have such a polished flow as a dedicated onboarding client, or at least a “plug and play” wizard that can be added to their own client.
- the most important feature for social onboarding is immediate and private communication between the invited and their advocate inviter. This can be as simple as implementing gift-wrapped direct messaging in the onboard client itself.
