We are trying to educate people on self-custody and using the lightning network. Government would like to crack down on it, but they haven’t been that successful. Despite all that, the rate at which people should be turning to Bitcoin is way lower than it should be. Those who have grasped it have a less difficult time - financially.
CEXs are widespread and competitive (for now) but we have some local p2p markets too in case of a govt hostile measures (IMO its a question of when rather than if)
