Had a beautiful drive home with the kids, and a couple of delicious beers, over some home-made pizzas

Ocean in the distance

Sunshine beaming down

It inspired me to create a beer of my own

A really really really good lager

Not full of grains that have been sprayed by chemicals

But the best possible ingredients

It would be something that wouldn’t even give you a hangover

Like beer of 100 years ago

Given my family company in the UK is a beer and pub company, you could say that I know a fair bit about the industry, and I can really see an opportunity

A luxury brand that sells a beer someone who buys expensive wine would also drink

Whilst a wellness expert would also like it

People still love a drink even if irregular

Why not make that drink the best possible quality?

If you’re only going to have 2 beers, why not make them the best possible beer you could buy?

If I was clever about it, I reckon it wouldn’t disrupt homeschooling all that much

Why wouldn’t this work?

Sounds like a great plan, Jake! Cheers and good luck! 🍻

This idea will def work! Throw it into the journal (mind-blockchain so we don’t forget!)

I’d love a good Lager with some serious proof of work behind it like you describe here⚡️🤘🏼

Yeah will definitely sit with it for a few days

Inspiration is like that

Comes in waves

Maybe I’ll sleep on it and think “stupid idea”

Hahah, had some of those yeah.

Initial brand names

- 1777

- The Luxury Lager Co

- The Byron Beer Co

Feeling a very strong draw… A key piece: a tech driven Brewery

- shopify

- social media

- pre-sales

Really own the high quality, organic, champagne-of-lager niche

“If you’re only having one, why not have the best?”

That is very similar to our strategy, but with Kombucha. We went with Kombucha because of the overall better health effects.

Nice! Really cool to see

Health is a key factor no doubt

I would be willing to bet that many of your kombucha customers also still drink beer

If only from time to time

I know alcohol isn’t good for me, slows me down, lowers productivity, but I still do it

My thesis would revolve around making a beer that was free of all the garbage that makes your hangovers horrible

Very much at idea stage!

Yeah, I can't drink commercial beer, but love a good homebrew.
