πŸ’šSay hello to Privacy Index: a guide of guides for all things digital privacy.πŸ’š

I started working on Privacy Index in the beginning of the year because I was frustrated by the one-fits-all solutions I was being sold by other privacy projects.

Privacy Index is the opposite: it's a resource for resources, so you can choose what tips, tools and tricks best fit your needs.

I would love for this project to grow and encompass all content others have found helpful on their own privacy journey – be it stories that inspired you, books that you read, tools that you use, or guides you found helpful – some of my favorite additions are highlighted below.

Privacy Index is by no means complete. But it's free and open source, so anyone can contribute on github. And the more people contribute, the better it will get πŸ’š

bookmarked, ty

That's great. I'm reading Opsec 101 right now.

Could you add an entry for Tails? https://tails.net/

I believe it's a very important tool to at least be aware about.

That's a cool project. The site would benefit from clearer categorization though. I'm seeing news and privacy 101 guides all stacked together. The privacy resources that offer a clear path from noob to Snowden work best since privacy is a long road and the habits must be built-up piece by piece.

Thank you for taking the time to do this. Bookmarked for use very soon.

Cool

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing πŸ‘

Thanks that's immensely valuable.

Do you know fmhy.net ?

I think this would be useful to them too:)

Tried to find them over the bluesky bridge but failed to tag them:(

Thank you, this is a very interesting initiative, looking at the web vpn's section I found Snowstorm, I wasn't aware of this project and I see that they are in beta. Have you tried it and if so can you share your thoughts?

This is a terrific idea.
