No need unless requested by customer because gift or special circumstance, IMHO. Box adds weight which causes more expensive shipping, packing costs. Box does look nice if a gift, etc.
I highly doubt that the extra black ink on the label adds any significant weight to the shipping cost. But i agree, the black box is “heavier”
