I got temp banned from a Pokemon trading subreddit while looking for a specific ditto because I was sus or something.

I've been banned from a bunch of subreddits too including r/Bitcoin. Ended up making a new account for that one (it was time for a fresh start anyway). I'm probably not worth interviewing, it's mostly because I antagonize fascist mods.

Well, I'm on my 4th twitter account and I post my show announcements there and to LinkedIn but the only real interaction I see anymore is on nostr.

also banned on twitter during the Ukrainian invasion. NAFO bots were rife with misinformation and gang reporting. Instagram/Meta Platforms censorship and shadow banning of war crimes during Oct. 7th and subsequently months afterwards too. Narrative control is bullshit, fuck them.
I fall into the "John Denver" camp of Nostr users - I've never been banned or censored, too benign to have it be an issue, and yet it does bother me that other socials can censor or ban, so I'm here.
Never, just deleted to try it, isolated from it for couple of years, then returned with a broken profile because is associated with ip address at least on X unless is now like that an has nothing to do. But who cares I like going places.

I was banned for publishing audios of the music I listened to. They said I infringed copyright. After 8 months they gave me back access to my account.

I'm banned from X and still don't know why! (Having been on most social media sites since Friendster and Myspace without problems, this surprised me, not so much the being banned but not being told WHY?!) I put it down to the UK falling ever deeper into Anarcho-tyranny.....
I left legacy social the moment they started poking injecting themselves into conversations with their little banners below and over posts. They never had a chance to ban me.
