I think I spent about 6 hours with support today, they must've been pretty tired of me by the end I think! But I've also done my own head in in the process and not sure if it will pay off eventually or not.
Hopefully they get over it soon! For many good reasons but also because I now have around $1k flight credits with United Airlines. I'll only be able to use them if the rules stop being insane before next January when they expire. (I've applied for a cash refund instead but won't hold my breath for it)

Flying Wednesday instead. Was a bit of a struggle to find any routes that don't have a transfer in "The Land of the Free" but eventually found some with KLM.
I feel a bit dumb for not having checked properly but I've transferred through so many airports around the world and never had to have extra documentation to do so. It just didn't even occur to me I would have a problem in the US.
Me too. I'm looking at alternative flights, I had more than just the conference planned, it was supposed to be full month in the sun and I'm not sure I'm ready to just let that go 🙏

Seems like the best I'm going to be able to do is get credit from United for the cost of my flight. Seeing that all their flights go through the US that's going to be pretty worthless to me until/unless these insane rules change.
Apparently it's full vaccination or nothing, it explicitly states that a test isn't sufficient :/ My only hope is to get a doctor to sign an exemption but I've got 24hrs and even getting an appointment will be hard.
Possibly, but I'm cutting it fine to even get seen by a doctor to sign off on that.

I have a stopover in for a couple of hours in Houston, I won't need to leave the airport so assumed I'll be fine but I'm just doing my online check in (I'm due to fly Tuesday morning) and it's saying I can't board that part of the journey if I'm unvaccinated. WTF.

Should work properly now. Final (hopefully) test. 
I'm going to have a play around with their API tomorrow and see if I can use it to get the image URL instead of the webpage one, here I was just using a generic widget they have on offer. Will also look in to what other free image upload services are available.
Cloudinary was a mistake, it's good but once you reach the limit on a free account the paid ones are too expensive.
And the 43k one too!! I'm not entirely sure who it was, I'll need to log in to a different client to see, but very kind and generous!!
