We already have overlords. Right now, they seem nice and supportive, but history has shown us that those with a majority of assets can quickly turn on us. The Hunt brothers, for example, attempted to corner the silver market in the 1970s and 80s, driving up prices and causing chaos in the market. Similarly, Vincent Kosuga in the 1950s purchased and hoarded a large portion of the onion supply in the US, leading to increased prices and public outrage.
These individuals were once seen as successful and powerful, but their actions ultimately harmed the average pleb. It's important to remember that those in power may not always have our best interests in mind. Even if they do, we must be prepared for the possibility that the next generation who inherits this wealth could turn against us.

To be honest both times he leave the path I was like "that's it, he's gone now" but after descending for 5 minutes, there he was again. The dog actually responded to my whistling and caling him by his name. And that way I could kinda keep him next to me.
During today's hike, as I was just 7% away from reaching the peak of our local hill, I stumbled upon this beautiful creature who appeared lost. Upon closer inspection (read cuddling), I noticed a tag on the creature's collar with his name, Don, and the owner's phone number. I contacted the owner and learned that he had already descended to his car after hours of searching Don. Determined to help, I offered to walk Don down the hill. Together, we descended the hill where I lost him two more times but he always popped out again from nowhere searching for the rightful owner.
The peak will be there the next time but Don might not be.
