I don't wife or kids yet, but I am sure the woman that will be my wife will know about my bitcoin journey, maybe not precisely my stack amount, but very likely even that. I plan a way so in case of my death she will have all the info and knowledge she'll need to recover my sats.

For sure will teach my kids about bitcoin, but will never tell them the amount I stacked, for sure. But they'll learn about it as soon as they can and I will make sure they will stack since young in a way or another 😁

I am in it since last cycle and have a long way to retire thanks to it, but here I am stacking what I can when I can, and keeping safe my precious sats until the day I will spend them to have time with my wolife and kids, and then left the rest to them.

Wow.. if I may ask, did you try to orange pill your wife, or/and intend to do it with your kids?

I’ve been in btc since 2012 I initially lost my shirt on Mt Gox. Then I started rebuilding from nothing.

I never told my wife about Mt Gox or the fact that I put a lot of money in there..

I was then shell shocked for many years, but started stacking again. Slowly.

After that experience, I took the ‘not your keys not your coins’ phrase very seriously .

i’m not exactly sure what would have happened had I told my wife, but my suspicion is that if I had told my wife that I had any, we would’ve spent it.

She’s unclear where we’re at financially, but we are retiring this year. But not really just moving to a small off grid Homestead because since the pandemic she’s been watching too many homesteading videos and wants to give it a try so I’m willing to go for that.

I will sell up to 4% of my stack each year depending on price hopefully less. I suspect there will be good years and bad years…. But the 4%rule should keep me retired…

I may make everyone else’s coins more valuable when I die.

My theory is everyone buys coins at the price they deserve and that goes for your wife and kids.

Unfortunately, the shareholders won’t be the ones voting in this matter it’ll be the pension funds that control shares of beneficial investors. You wanna make this about what the shareholders want you have to outlaw people voting on behalf of the beneficial investors.

I would propose in matters like this only the beneficial shareholders can vote.

I just thank God it didn’t take that Santa Monica job that I was offered 15 years ago. From what I can tell that area is completely engulfed.

Funny part the reason I didn’t take that job is because they were planning to shut down the Santa Monica airport. I figured I couldn’t live in a town with no Airport.

That Airport would’ve provided a solid firewall, preventing one side of the city and the other side of the city from catching but now it’s all condos and apartment buildings .

And the removal of that Airport was just a pure political land grab to enrich associates of the political class .

The approach is totally wrong and the big pharmaceutical industry is guilty of it because they only seek to sell expensive and recurrent treatments and the doctors also because of their incompetence.

If there were really philanthropists who were good people they would fund studies on the three substances mentioned and in combination of all of them, but as the world is a rotten shitty place I doubt it will happen, you will have to experiment for yourself if cancer knocks at your door.

cant figure out how to cook eggs on a cast iron pan w butter to avoid sticking. trting to acoid seed oils to cook food.

seasoned the pans twice with canola oil in oven at 350.

Lower the temp, cook longer.

In fact I use the lowest settings on a gas stove and a good 15 mins.

Some times cover with a steel lid.

Low temp typically prevents sticking

I also use olive oil occasionally…

Never wash iron with soap. I wash with water and a blue scotchbrite after. Never use green you will get sticking… dry immediately if there is oil/greasy residue back in the over at 320 for 45min it should season into the cast iron

I’ve heard some talk about making a Satoshi movie but I don’t think that’s the best angle.

I think the better angle is a bitcoin origin story told through the life and eyes of Hal.

Call it “Running” and make it a biopic around his first correspondences with Satoshi, his cypherpunk days, his running and training for marathons. His life with Fran, their love, and their struggles.

It would be a tear jerker for sure, but a film about a life well lived and something with real emotion.

Correct nobody knows or has ever seen satoshi.
