Present moment attunement gives me everything I need, in fact, gives us all everything we need to unlock what limits us and activates what we need for alignment.

When I say the Wim Hof method connects us with pure nature, I mean first and foremost that it reduces anxiety and gives us the confidence to follow our intuition. Well, how does it do that? Good thing is that the 'Hoffers' make a big effort to speak the language of current-day science.
During the breathing practice, the body produces large amounts of adrenaline, up to 10 times more than during a first-time bungee jump 👀 This adrenaline spike has several effects, one of which is that our body produces more energy and brings us in a heightened state of awareness. Like sudden super powers when we have to quickly face or escape a dangerous situation. As the adrenaline rush is only short term, the body adapts positively and enhances its functionality in the face of future stressful situations.
At the same time, the full conscious breathing and extended breath retention phases stimulate the vagus nerve which makes us feel more calm and relaxed. It activates a part of our brain which enhances internal focus and awareness of the present moment - meaning we worry less about the past and future.
So within a short period of time, the Wim Hof method simultaneously makes us more energetic and focussed, as well as relaxed and present. Less anxiety, more confidence, closer to our natural state of being.
