There's nothing "social" in these modern corporate owned social media. They are only algorithmic garbage pushed down user's throats by the highest bidder for your "tagged data", fear of governments and people with agendas, while friends are buried on the timeline, and there's no way to see unfiltered content.

Tiktok doesn't even make an effort to hide that, unlike Meta who still does a pretending game calling themselves "social network". The only thing somewhat social in Facebook is groups, and they are really a shit forum in that.
