Npub has retired. Please remove from your follows.

I'm only in Bitcoin because they sold it to me as a cure for rampant usury. Which it is.

I disagree, that you need to be selfish to make money. You need to be shrewd and ambitious, which is to be virtuous. We are to invest and grow our talents.

My husband is by far the better parent. Not even close, unfortunately.

I told my husband I'd be a terrible mother because I always forget to water the plants because I live so much in my own head, and then they die of thirst.

He thought a moment and said, "Oh, but that won't be a problem because babies cry when they're thirsty."

And he was right.

Timid, instead of humble, I suppose.

It's actually really easy to tell who men truly love.

Just ask them to imagine the following scenario:

You and everyone around you have been slowly starving. There is now only one bowl of stew left and you are holding it. Person X is sitting next to you and is just as hungry, as you are.

Do you:

1) eat it quickly?

2) share it with X?

3) give X the bowl and encourage them the eat the entire thing?

That's indifference, alliance, love.

We have always done it like that.

We were trained to do it like that.

We have official papers, that say we should do it like that.

It is in Ordnung.

Why in the world did that bot retweet that picture? 😂

Also not far off, but a bigger stretch (literally) than with Emma. The AI has to sort of morph your face onto the gap left by the other person's face, so the closer you originally are, the less it has to change, and the more the end result resembles you.

Ave Maria.

Do you know about a cooperative created by José María Arizmendiarrieta Madariaga l, a Catholic priest in Basque Country, named Mondrágon? Or about a city, here in Brasil, named Witmarsum?

No, never heard of it, sorry.

Of course, it is.

You could always go back to step #4. 🤭

Not weird, as we're talking about financial planning and not the intangible benefits.

Children invariably make you poorer, in the West. Dramatically so.

Most of my major life-choices have made me poorer, in the long-term, and I don't mind because in the long-term I will be dead.
