I would love to remind all these nitwits back in 2017, shitposting about how bitcoin was too slow... Fees were too high... It's a dinosaur, new crypto solutions are better... Fast forward to 2025: it has outperformed all these shitty projects and the mempool is clear
No it kept crashing unfortunately due to corrupted db files while syncing. I parked this little side project for now. It is unfortunate because I do love running Samurai/Ashigaru
nostr:nprofile1qqsvf646uxlreajhhsv9tms9u6w7nuzeedaqty38z69cpwyhv89ufcqppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0stj565 said it best. Trying to find out who #Satoshi is, is such a fiat thing. Who cares really! Just accept people/groups want/need anonymity/privacy and simply enjoy the fruits of their produce.
I noticed that too, the braiins BMM 101 does seem to draw more power at 40W. I will surely keep an eye on them. It would be ace if one of the many #BitAxe sellers offered a POE version too, imo there is a decent market for that :D
Ocean don't do any KYC.
I wrote an article comparing solo mining to pool mining here:

Just one additional question nostr:nprofile1qqswswmx4rkj6d7q05dtafhpkqq2z42fc62s37jvtp642m2jkpfxc2cpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqz9mhwden5te0ve5kcar9wghxummnw3ezuamfdejsz9mhwden5te0dehhyarfwvhxummnw3erztnrdakspefym9 the #bitaxe is wifi only right? Not having access to 24h wifi signal is going to be an issue, are you aware a solution to connect it to a physical cable?
Adoption is inevitable, everyone gets the #Bitcoin price they deserve. Selling these assets will become a monumental decision in hindsight. I simply don't think they can do otherwise, even if someone internally wants to take a different approach they will most likely be bound to stringent protocols.
Completely agree, I guess you simply can't fix stupid ;)
Looking at the guides/github of #RoninDojo does anyone know if/how it performs on a virtual machine (kvm/qemu)?

Introducing HAVEN - The Ultimate Relay For Sovereign Individuals

HAVEN (High Availability Vault for Events on Nostr) is the next evolution of personal relays that take self sovereignty and decentralization to the next level.
https://github.com/bitvora/haven
It's a 4-in-1 Relay with:
- Private Relay - for your drafts, ecash/nutsacks and anything else only you should be able to see
- Chat Relay - for your web of trust to be able to send you DMs or to host private group chats.
- Inbox Relay - for people to send reactions, zaps and likes to your notes. It also pulls these notes from other relays in real time. Protected by web of trust
- Outbox Relay - for others to read from. This will contain all the notes that only you publish. Anyone can read, only you can write. Every note sent to your outbox relay will be BLASTR'd to other relays.
It also has many SMART relay features, including:
- It imports all your old notes to your outbox relay, and imports any note you're tagged in to your inbox relay
- It protects your relays using your Web of Trust
- It automatically backs up all your notes to a 3rd party cloud (currently only AWS S3 support - more soon™)
- It blastr's your notes to other relays
Amethyst users will love this relay because it gives you every relay you need to complete the relay configuration.
It is my hope with this relay that we can significantly increase the decentralization of Nostr by giving people an extremely powerful and reliable personal relay that gives them control over the longevity and privacy of their notes. With more people running personal relays, clients should be more inclined to implement the outbox/inbox model.
You can see HAVEN in action on my personal relay:
- wss://relay.utxo.one/outbox
- wss://relay.utxo.one/inbox
- wss://relay.utxo.one/chat
- wss://relay.utxo.one/private
I am extremely excited about this release and can't wait to see what the nostriches think of it!
To get started, follow the instructions in the README here:
Boom!

Will definitely have a read
Cool, I reckon you're using Ocean? I'm aligned with your approach.
Thanks, I'm looking at it in a similar way. I love to add some hashrate just from an idealogical standpoint as I believe in the decentralised nature ofBitcoin. I have read a bit or two about Ocean, I love how they operate. I'm leaning towards solomining and just let it run. Still beed to do more DYOR, kinda new to mining ;)
Would love to know whether people run the #bitaxe from a grassroots perspective or does it truly give you some returns (when joining a pool). It depends on the model offcourse, but regardless would love to hear some feedback from the #bitaxe community #asknostr

Only thing I would like to have, from a security perspective, is a pincode/passwd feature for the #AlbyGo app.
