In the meantime, groups interested in these #Bitcoin grants should please take note of some important details.
â The Bitcoin Beach Grants are intended for #Bitcoin circular economy projects and NOT for independent Bitcoin education activities, meet-ups, content creation activities, human rights campaigns, or other activities like this in isolation.
Activities like that may be included in an application as components of the plan to build the local #BTCÂ circular economy, of course. They are all key components of building out a #BTCÂ circular economy. But the grants are not intended to support these activities in isolation.
Groups interested in funding to support activities like this (ie, education, meetups, etc) will need to integrate them into a local #BTCÂ circular economy vision and project. Newly proposed and created #BTCÂ circular economy projects are very welcome to apply!

There is definitely this expectation. My friends who had their babies in their twenties all went back to work within 6mos. Some because they had to financially. Others because they felt it was their identity or that they wouldnât be respected.
I do feel like there is an entirely different set of expectations once the kids are in school or out of the house. You must be productive and be available 24/7.
Even though my little is still little, âim like do you want a clean house and a raging bitch or a semi clean house and a happy loving partner?â Mammaâs got to do her things too!
I think this is a benefit of meeting and having a baby later in life. I worked for 25 years, did the savings, the travel, whatever. Now Iâm like, âyep happy to be home with the babe.â I do work two mornings from our home office, but itâs so I can buy ridiculous skin care, enter races, buy bitcoin. đ
How was everyoneâs weekend? We spent most of the days working on the garden. Still a bit more fruit and veg to plant, but things are definitely looking good!

Announcing my latest pet project, Helm Wallet.
I believe thereâs a huge gap between the ease of use of Wallet of Satoshi and the self-custody of Phoenix. To minimize this gap, I created a new web app, a wallet that has the self-custody of Phoenix and is easy to use as WoS.
Helm is a Liquid wallet that uses Boltz submarine swaps to disguise itself as a Lightning wallet that even your grandma can use.
But it has a cost.
All transactions must go on the Liquid chain and also Boltz must earn something for the service they provide, so there are fees to be paid:
- The minimum cost for sending a payment is around 200 sats;
- The average cost for sending **or receiving** a payment is around 400 sats plus 0.1% of the amount;
- Transactions between Helm wallets donât pay Boltz fees but can take up to 1 minute to complete;
- Amounts are limited between 1.000 and 25.000.000 sats.

The web app is completely independent, no server required. You can clone it, build it and run it from your own computer. Everything runs on the browser.
