Do i ever have a story for you. Basically same story, but he took our cat and vaxxed/ chipped it. Cat came back after a month three days ago. He is demanding $500 or he said they'll take us to court and have the cops come remove the cat. This is next level 'crazy cat' guy. He had painted black finger nails :) i think I'll just ignore him and see what happens

It's already separated in a sense. Just step out of their jurisdiction and into ecclesiastical law (God's law). It surpasses their man made laws and works in court. They hate it

I agree, fungibility is ideal. But i think bitcoin is too far along for major changes in regards to that. We have to work with what we have
I think bitcoin is too far along for any successful fork to happen. In my mind, so many of us exit the system that it won't really matter. I don't care about the history of my coin and I'm sure I'm not alone. It's the nation states that play these games and they will become less relevant to those who recognize their false authority.
That would be great, but i think we're beyond that now. It is what it is. Bitcoin will be so valuable that even if the tradfi doesn't want your tainted bitcoin it will still be valuable due to everyone trying to exit the fiat ponzi. There will always be a black market for it.
Until those they're paying with the fiat realize it's just monopoly money
My wife told me we got a $300 gift certificate for this fancy restaurant so we dressed up and ordered all kinds of fancy foods and drinks. When it came time to pay, we found out it was only a $50 certificate. I was stuck with over a $200 bill. What is that saying? Verify, don't trust. :) anyways, super fun to spend like I'm short bitcoin.
