Everything can be limited and set up on the relay. But the current relay implementations aren’t good. At least by default there could be some restrictions for the operators not to log IPs
American Bitcoiners who are leading the industry could catch up and start lobbying of changing these rules! Instead they are following them ! And call themselves “Bitcoiners”
No, it’s absolutely ridiculous! Bitcoin should be accessible without this kind of nonsense. Instead of bending the knee to the government like Mallers, Dorsey and others did, they could use their $ to promote the development and advocacy of true P2P solutions in their home country!
Lmao! The app that requires KYC and works with chainanal ! The other Jack is the same
Please don’t tell me that we have only one #nostr client with a built-in search feature that isn't ideal but somehow works!
Start with a Santoku, then try a Gyutou. They offer two distinct cutting styles, but I enjoyed using both so I couldn’t resist buying them!
Update your #Bitaxe
Two of these are expensive so I don’t want to fuck them up. But I might mess around with the cheap one 🤔
Yes! I don’t do it myself but there is knife shop in my area who does this
I see people on #nostr saying they don’t care about their data or who stores and analyzes it. Let’s see who’ll be the first to complain when they can’t find their notes or when their public zaps and nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg wallet are tracked by Chainal 🍿
This could also address the question of data ownership on nostr. While people might still take screenshots of notes and share them, the information wouldn’t be universally broadcasted or permanently stored in every possible relay.
Achieving the goal of making notes visible only to a specific circle of friends and preventing resharing outside this group.
So probably it would look like this:
- encrypt each note with a symmetric key that you share only with your circle.
- Encrypt each note with individual keys for each friend, which is impractical for groups, or note's decryption key is only valid for one read or for a very short time
Yes, kinda like a private chat room. But not sure how the key distribution to the circle of friends would work and another one idea might be just via private relay that only by my approval notes can be seen by others. Idk I’m dumb
🤷♂️
Maybe someday they will figure out how to do it 😁
When will we get a NIP that allows #nostr accounts to be private, with notes hidden from the public ?
