working on Alby - enabling consumers and developers to interact with the Bitcoin Lightning Network - the protocol of money – everywhere: in apps and the real world ⚡moritz@getalby.com

Did you connect your Alby Account to Zeus mobile app? Payments happen should happen instantly. What exactly takes 10 minutes?

You can buy sats on Alby with a prepaid card?? Is it KYC’d?

You can certainly try a p2p platform like nostr:npub1p2psats79rypr8lpnl9t5qdekfp700x660qsgw284xvq4s09lqrqqk3m82 and set your payment method to “prepaid visa” etc

Not sure of exchanges/money transmitters who accept those cards but certainly would love to know too

Yes, you can buy BTC on https://getalby.com/topup from MoonPay and have it directly sent to your Alby account.

Why is it Alby's fault? If something like this provides value (i.e. is implemented by clients) isn't it worth considering adding it to the spec now?

You can store your nsec in the Alby browser extension. It is a client-side only app. You don't custody it with the Alby organisation. The key is encrypted and only locally available.

Do you want to use your Nostr private key from the Alby Browser Extension also in the Primal mobile app?

If you want to use https://primal.net/, the browser extension does everything for you and asks you to give permissions and sign events.

If you have any question about using Alby on Nostr, I am here to help. You'll find some content about Alby and Nostr here: https://blog.getalby.com/tag/nostr/

Oh no. What issues do you have with Alby? Do you want to send a screenshot of the issue to support@getalby.com?

Hi nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm!

Is there a way for me to generate an LNURL QR code that is reusable?

Use case: My kids are starting a Dog Poop Scooping business in our neighborhood, and I’d like to have a QR code that any of their customers can scan with Strike and send payment—without requiring me to generate a custom invoice every time.

I’ve been told this is possible with Alby but I can’t figure it out. Thanks!

My registered Alby lightning address is moritz@getalby.com and I find my QR code here: . Just use your username.
