Anyway, followed. I usually steer away from the cryptocentric content but your feed has hot takes. Thanks
Agreed. Traditional social media is inherently toxic. This is better. I fear it’s a matter of time though. As the userbase grows, I don’t know if healthy relays can be created as quickly as unhealthy people toxify existing relays.
I know the debate is as old as time, but I fall more on the side of mankind being inherently evil. So, I see most of the depravity on social media as a symptom of humanity as opposed to social media causing today’s societal problems.
As an example, places like prawnhub have great accessibility but if I want to find a pdf repository and download a technical manual for my tractor it’s like pulling teeth. People’s penchant for the absurd and destructive always outpaces the healthy.
Ya, I just figure none of the social media execs let their kids on the platforms they themselves created. They know something we don’t. Never trust a skinny chef.
Now, if they use the nostr protocol to create aps that are very locked down and prevented unsolicited interaction, then ya sign me up.
Peppers don’t like wet feet. It looks like it’s buried in a bit of a pit. Is the potting soil level below the natural land contour?
And is it cold there at all? We have had a bit of a cold snap here in 6a. I wouldn’t dream of having peppers out yet but you may be farther south. Last year, I put them out 10 days later than I usually do, and they did better than ever before. I think peppers really just despise the cold. If you have 10 gallon aquariums, you can use them as cloches. (Like a small greenhouse)
It will be a cold day in cyberspace before my kids use any social media, decentralized or not.
Curious. Has your wallet had any trouble receiving nostr initiated payments?
Your address that looks like an email address is the easiest way to receive sats over a longer time period. If you have someone’s address you can send any amount, anytime, from any wallet. The noster zap is using that address and saves it in whatever app you’re using, but you can do the send to address directly wallet to wallet.
Refresh your client and try now. I put 20⚡️ on your beer stein test invoice and it worked perfectly.
I know Jack just said to not fall for this common scam, but try to zap me. I just changed mine to Fountain.fm but I have another idea brewing.. one where it’s Damus’s fault. To keep Jack happy, I’ll zap back when we’re done.
Yes! It’s Iris and Amethyst. Both are Android based, and I think that’s the problem. I started with getalby on PC with snort, then went to iOS mobile and set up Damus. Then getalby didnt want to work with Damus (subsequently did work) but I set up WoS on iOS and it linked to Damus immediately, and caught up with snort quickly.
It’s actually on my todo list today. My dad has a spare android device so I will download Iris and see what my profile looks like. I bet my instance on Iris won’t linked to a wallet at all.
I’ve been meaning to get to the bottom of it. I had trouble with my alby generated key. It occurs to me now.. I think I mentioned it to you before. Been working with PeterK about it. I want to verify my nip-05 but don’t want to waste sats on an account I will subsequently burn if we can’t figure it out.
#[2] you mind looking at Josh’s data like you did mine? I bet there are similarities.
I wish it were that fun! I removed my gauges, and realized the valve had failed, so I slapped the gauges back on to stop the mess from spraying all over, and ordered this tool overnight. It lets me hot swap the valve without venting the refrigerant. I don’t really care about the refrigerant, it’s below the epa legal limit. What I do worry about is the compressor oil, which is basically the magic from the factory. It’s all guess work, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t lose enough to matter. 🤞
I hope for your sakes nobody knows what I’m up to.

I’m lost. For all I know it could be perfect and I just have picky rabbits. I just know it didn’t smell like a lactoferment. Other than that, I think I need smellavision or an in person Workshop.
Followed back. I thought I had tapped follow on you before, but Snort and Damus aren’t always playing nice for me.
I’m serious about the elm. I don’t know if it’s as nutritious but I put examples of all the tree species out for my rabbits and they all went straight for the elm. This year, I’m trying black locust. I want to feed out a litter to butcher weight on nothing but elm and black locust. I think I can do it. Some people say locust is toxic to buns, but after I dug deeper I found out those people were force feeding locust with no other input. It’s a legume and rabbits can’t survive on pure legume.
I tried Nick’s wood chipper method last August. I also used a shop vac to suck all the air out of my bag, and then had a zip tie prepped to cinch down on the knot. Everything looked good when I put it away. I believe a stick punctured my bag. When I opened the drum the bag was in, I noticed the bag wasn’t sucked down tight anymore. When I opened the bag, I was met with a beer smell. My rabbits didn’t like it at all.
Sheep? Maybe.
Also, it may have been too wet but i don’t think so. It was August, so the leaves were mature. I also used dry molasses flake, the agricultural stuff. I’ll try again, but hanging the branches in a windy location to dry, and then storing in a dark dry place looks better. I’ll find my pics of my dry tree hay I put up.
Long story short, I was in Mexico using my broken Spanish to try and learn some Maya from a native speaker who barely spoke more Spanish than I did.
One of the first phrases I learned was “how are you” followed by apparently the only acceptable answer: “I’m well.”
In their culture, it’s unacceptable to answer any other way. I feel it is the same here, nobody really wants to know. I have some very close friends that want to know what I’m doing, but I see them 6-7 days a week. Half the things I could talk about involve them. 😆
Most people when they ask “what you been up to lately” they really want about a half sentence answer. They maybe haven’t seen you for 10 years, but they tune out if you actually start talking about what you’ve been doing for the last 10 years. Sad.
You know my answer!!
Bun buns fed with mulberry! I was blessed to already have mulberry including a white, and tons of willow, plus cottonwood and other junk poplars before everyone started interviewing Nick on their shows. Through experimentation, I’ve also discovered #rabbit love of elm, maple and wild grapevine, three things I have in abundance. Since I’m established already, I can peek into the future with my existing trees and see clearly, the tree fodder movement is the ez button for people if they plant the trees and wait.
Pros:
I love that you get a meal sized carcass. Perfect if refrigeration is nonexistent or at a premium.
Their offal isn’t awful. That liver is plump and isn’t subjected to contaminated/odd feed.
Near zero feed bill if done with tree hay.
HOA Karens are loud, but Rabbits are silent.
Adults handle harsh winter like champs.
That poop!!!
Cons: have mild summers or keep your bucks inside or in a root cellar so they don’t shoot blanks.
Beckett the #garden gnome had a rough night. Anybody got any hangover remedies that are compatible with his fairytale physiology?
(Wrong answers only) 😛 #grownostr

Ya. Mostly the fiddles. Guitars are sorta new to me, so this was an adventure. The guy wanted to keep the original binding. The transition didn’t bother me til now I keep seeing my work on the web. 😒
