Seriously though, what’s up with her hand? Looks like she got in a fight with a jellyfish and lost. It’s not artifacting, as it appears in one other photo, but if you look at her press photos her left hand is either at an oblique angle or just out of the picture. In her selfies, she holds the camera with her left hand etc. In this photo, it’s worn as a badge of courage like it’s an old war injury. Seems like a form of lying with the truth.

Pretty sure comfrey poultice and #prayer is the only thing keeping me up with the kids.

I’ve never held a GC, but the hybrids I make are bigger than both purebred parents and they get meaty quick. Not exactly miserly when it comes to feed per day, but a whole extra pound hanging weight two weeks before the purebred. I’m not encouraged to do anything different.

I considered albino because I really despise their empty stare and I WANT to kill then when I see them. I ultimately rejected the idea because when guests visit at butcher time a white pelt looks like Armageddon.

😜 Kidding. Nothing specific is holding me back besides timeline. I have made too many whim homesteading purchases and animal additions, and I want to systemize them before I start more. I’ve been heavily considering it. Is that the PRO or the original one? I think the OG will continue to go on heavy sales. I got a email about the scratch and dent availability of the original large, and the prices were downright seductive.

What kind of rabbits do you have? My friend has all kinds, Cream, NZ, SF, Rex, lionhead… We only have cross sf x nz. You get either a grey rabbit or a black rabbit. Snooze fest! It separates butchering time from emotional decisions. Almost everything goes in the freezer, and the truly wonderful sort themselves out because of personality. Those become the breeding stock. THEN they get a name when they get their solitary/breeding cage. Not only does waiting keep you from having to rename Esteban to Stephanie, the name fits their wonderful personality and otherwise they aren’t a truly exemplary rabbit so you don’t have to butcher someone that has a name.

Strong work! More than a couple chickens is nothing to slouch about. I’d much rather do 100 rabbits than 22 chicken. Probably take me about the same amount of time. I can’t get it right. Still figuring out how to remove chicken lung tissue successfully..
