Uh... I'm obviously too involved so I'd recuse myself. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that whole process.
No. I will utterly hate every second of it. I'd rather spend a week reorganizing where I work then do any cleaning at home.
Good morning, #nostriches!
I woke up extra early. I have enough time before work for a cuppa and cooking something better for lunch.
I hope the start of your day is pleasant!

(Yes, I need to clean the back splash thing.)

The state of the internet as it is currently is so disappointing. I remember reading nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 ‘s book wherein he was describing the early internet- and what a wondrous place it was. So many ideas and so much info.
Now 😞 it’s curated rubbish and half the stuff is AI generated gibberish. Or repeats of the same “safe and allowed” website which I have zero desire to read or hear from.
Apologies for the rant, my disappointment runs deep today.
I’ve been trying to research something important and am getting nowhere
It's annoying. But, how are you searching? There's a lot of better stuff out there if you can Cyrene hours you're looking for it.
Because I'm good at my job and it's easy enough to do that in the limited context there. Everything else is an overwhelming mess, and, I immaturely don't want to deal with any of it.
No, it's not directly related, but it helps, for sure.
It is very satisfying, and, quite frankly, the best defense against boredom there is.
If I could tie this to my Motorola GPS tracker, that would be pretty rad, but that's also way above my ability.
Sounds like the dude just wanted to pork anything he wanted to buy making it sound all mystical. :/
So... How'd it go?
My heart, my home, my life.
Bored.
But being bored is nearly always a product of not applying your ability to iterate abs improve.
For example: there are times when I have dozens to hundreds of parts to build/weld. I always end up going through them faster than nearly anyone else with much more consistent results because I iterate on the process as I move through the batch. A little process tweak here and there, and I can usually cut down on the time to competion by over 50%, and that's only within what's immediately in control of what I'm doing. I'm actively working on taking more responsibility, yes, so I can get paid more, but, also because I want to be involved in the process BEFORE parts get to me and the rest of the guys in the shop so we all don't have to deal with crappy parts, which slows us down and increases part variability, both of which are undesirable.
I'm probably going to make terrible decisions about myself and excellent decisions based on work.
The primary, best candidates for the military just don't want to deal with weak, delusional people.
