Excellent book, and Gabor Mate is a brilliant therapist, but someone please tell him how misaligned his views on free market capitalism are please. It’s really not difficult to understand that capitalism cannot exist alongside a private fiat banking cartel.
The unimpeded ability to store capital is only possible with hard money, not fiat currency printed to infinity, this isn’t a difficult principle to comprehend folks. Your energy is either exchanged for something that grows in value, is decentralized, and free from moral hazard, or it isn’t.

I dont think there’s any incentives to conduct oneself maliciously here. It’s like fiat vs bitcoin, problems are profit on a fiat standard, there’s incentive to manufacturer disorder, planned obsolescence, bitcoin and nostr protocol make that model obsolete.
Perhaps a delete comes with a mandatory zap if it’s a reply or comment in some regretful or inflammatory way. I think the thing to take note of here is that the nostr space is one of understanding, patience, discourse, nuance, and if something is said in haste or out of stress, whomever is reading it is responsible for how they feel about it. I fully understand the other concerns, but if people are posting something malicious, the permanence of a post forced responsibility and is a deterrent.
Lots of kinks to workout in infancy, but we shouldn’t renovate the nostr space to suit and align with our fiat behavior.
Knowledge is a super power and words are weapons. “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” - this isn’t a motto for work ethic, it’s a literal warning.
