Many of us want to just push through and get all the things done.

Narcissists are going to get their âfixâ of supply. If they arenât getting it from you, theyâre getting it from somewhere else. They donât care if itâs positive or negative, but they will get it either way. Try not to participate and when you do, still be kind to you!

Narcissists blame us for everything, especially when we âpiss them offâ. Often times this is because we didnât listen to them in the way they wanted or do exactly what they told us to do in the way they wanted it done.
We also end up often apologizing to them for something we donât owe an apology for. In fact, they usually owe us an apology for the way they acted.
Itâs completely reasonable to apologize for things we do, not for something they did.

Too many people when trying to get help, instead get shamed or judged. Itâs definitely not always on purpose, but it still happens. Itâs one of the hardest things about healing from toxic relationships. Actually getting help so you can heal without adding more trauma onto what youâve already gone through.

I realize most people are just trying to be helpful when they say, âJust donât let them get to youâ. Most often, itâs just not helpful. When we can do that, we do.
