Моя диссертация была частично по хаосу и теории Мандельброта. Фрактализируется не паттерны и не хаос, а поведение отдельных динамических систем, и то при условии того, что удастся найти некое малоразмерное подпространство, куда можно эту динамику спроецировать. Для возникновения хаоса в таких системах необходимо (а) строгий детерминизм, (б) минимум 2 измерения (в астрофизике это например координата и импульс тела) и (в) нелинейность. Говорить о неком хаосе и фракталах в случае биткойна бессмысленно. Здесь нет никакого „master equation“, которое описывало бы динамику. Здесь нет никакого детерминизма. Здесь непонятно какие измерения являются независимыми (цена и что еще?), а какие просто производными других. Наверное есть какая-то нелинейность, глядя на то как цена экспоненциально растет и падает, но опять же, в чем заключается эта нелинейность? В чем фундаментальная, а не эмпирическая закономерность?
Если брать динамику цены биткойна, то с огромными допущениями можно использовать теорию Black-Scholes, и то только между халвингами и в отсутствие «черных лебедей». Ну то есть почти никогда.
В таких условиях останется пользоваться бритвой Оккама. В условиях безумной сложности, самым простым объяснением возникновения «паттерна» цены между халвингами останется просто спрос-предложение, то есть банальная модель Stock-to-Flow. С каждым циклом инфляция биткойна падает в 2 раза, что вызывает практически экспоненциальный рост цены из-за паники (кстати вот она нелинейность). Гипербиткоинизация, если она вообще наступит резко, чему нет свидетельств, это как раз уравновешивание паники после халвинга с депрессией в конце цикла. К тому моменту цена биткоина стагнирует настолько, что не будет смысла о ней говорить, так как все друге валюты будут в нем выражаться.

Если накопить как можно больше за 10-20 лет, то больше подходит „buy 6 months before halving, sell 18 months after halving“ от PlanB. Но здесь нужно взаимодействовать с фиатом и возможно налогами.

Yes, but Telegram FAQ was written by Telegram employees themselves, right? In 2018 the Russian regulators tried to block Telegram servers and it almost worked (they didn’t have enough capacities to block it completely). Given that 70-80% of their business heavily relies on the traffic within Russia, it caused serious troubles, despite some collateral damage. Imagine the US government temporarily blocking even a small fraction of Amazon servers – the damage will be enormous. So what happened in 2019? The ban suddenly stopped, the Russian state media declared the conflict „had been settled“, Durov and the Russian opposition declared „victory“. There was a period of silence, after which some journalists started noticing that several prosecution processes against opposition members involved screenshots of their Telegram communication. These screenshots looked weird in that they showed the chats from a „third person perspective“, as if a third person was present in the chat. Many factors, not all but suspiciously many, pointed to a possibility that the authorities possess either the decryption keys themselves or can partially access selected chats by requesting the access from Telegram. Noticeable is also the fact that such methods have been used in other popular communication app such as VK and Viber for a long time.
I do not favor conspiracy theories and I do hope that I am wrong. But there’s too many coincidences.

A lot of hype around Pavel Durov. Many new details about his management style and life priorities are becoming public. Also how he values privacy and freesom and BLA BLA BLA.
On the other hand, I remember how the investigation and the ban of Telegram in Russia were abruptly (!) stopped. Several independent journalist later reported that Durov gave the decryption keys and the access to some sort of "god mod" to the authorities.
