Agreed. But can you collect one of each horse!?!?
I did well for about a year plus on basically zero carb (other than the small amounts in liver and eggs), but found my output in exercising started to diminish and started getting brain fog. The inclusion of carbs helped but had to be gradually introduced.
Again, if you’re doing well then I’m not going to be the one to say to change anything, but I just don’t think the dogmatic approach of “carbs are bad” is correct either(I’m not implying you said that).
Also, have you tried making your own raw milk kefir? I feel like that was a huge help to my overall gut health.
Demonizing carbs so generaly is just incorrect. I agree most veggies are unneeded and can have unwanted consequences, including inflammation. Removing carbs completely for extended periods of time can become a stress on the body. Gluconeogenesis (the making of sugar from protein) is stressful on the body and is not sustainable in the long-term. Keto long-term is harmful and even the Inuit, who eat almost no carbs for an extended part of the year, have a genetic mutation to keep them out of ketosis for long periods.
Eating fruits, honey and easily digestible carbs like white rice & potatoes will easily get the body enough carbs to keep it from needing gluconeogenesis. Also, not going to bed without your liver glycogen stores topped off is a receipe for poor sleep.
Will be interesting to see how much of the internet is rebuilt p2p in the coming decade(s). Really should have been that way since the beginning but we finally have the compilation of technology to do it. Fascinating times!
Like Bitcoin we all hope, and believe it to be in the world’s best interest, for platforms like this to succeed. If the last couple years showed us anything, unfortunately, we are in the minority for prioritizing freedom and privacy. Slow burn, but I have confidence we’ll get there!
