🤣 I know Paul (MB Roland) really well. Not only were we classmates at West Point, my barracks room was 1 door down when we were cadets. Great guy. He would tell us about starting his distillery when he was a cadet. None of us believed he would do it. He did.
Both are fantastic. Another great small distillery is Barrell, I recommend the Armida and the Seagrass. They do a second aging (finishing) in unique barrels. Armida is bourbon finished in a pear brandy cask.
AMAZING! Really enjoy visiting there and getting some 🥃.

Bourbon all tastes the same to me..bad. My husband on the other hand is a collector & connoisseur. It’s his only vice. He said Blanton’s is great but Weller & the Colonel are better for the flavor profile he prefers.

You should try Woodford Double Oaked!
My husband will always have a special place in his heart for Woodford, even though it’s not his favorite sipper. He was on CNN for saving people during the snowpacalypse. He took a bottle of Woodford to help warm people up and they showed this pic. Woodford Reserve did a nationwide hunt for him. They wanted to donate to his favorite charity and we have an open invitation to stay there any time we are in Versailles.

It's incredible.
I've never developed a palette for bourbon. I'll sip it & attempt to appreciate it, but I feel like I'm wasting the proof of work that's in there.
I do enjoy a nice scotch though.
