Have you read Jack Carr’s series with his James Reece character? His writing is so good, and this reminded me of some fight scenes he has that are so detailed and thought out.
Live life without expectations and you’ll be free.
income tax, yes of course. But also payroll taxes... it's an insane amount that a significant burden to monthly cash flow.
Get rid of both of those and not only would businesses be more profitable, but they would also pay their employees better.

How could one argue it still makes sense to contribute to a 401k, whether it’s Roth or not? Let's even say there is a 6% match and that the individual is 30s...
I can't believe how corrupted this system is. This wage earner/fiat miner is spending their 40 hours weekly to earn in fiat that 'they' can print for free. And he is led to believe the only way he can retire is by contributing to his 401k.
BUT 1) He can't even choose which specific assets are held within his 401k 2) He can't access these funds for almost 30 years without penalty and taxes 3) Even if he does want to withdraw, they can tell him NO.
It's pure insanity that this is one of the most common forms of 'saving'. In this scenario, I would argue even with the match it just makes no sense. Add on the fact that equity is way over-monetized and to me it's a no brainer. Luckily, we have bitcoin as the alternative, I just sometimes can't fathom how we got here.
Main four: 1) be there for and take care of my family (every year) 2) grow my business 3) stack more sats 4) reduce stress
Just listened to nostr:npub1s5yq6wadwrxde4lhfs56gn64hwzuhnfa6r9mj476r5s4hkunzgzqrs6q7z with nostr:npub16c0nh3dnadzqpm76uctf5hqhe2lny344zsmpm6feee9p5rdxaa9q586nvr... I've been using Nostr for a while now, but finally played around with different clients and connected my lightning wallet. Have to say I finally 'get it' now. Exciting stuff! Thanks guys!
If it’s an inflationary depression (likely), that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Might have a big deflationary event at some point, but it’s going to be an inflationary decade… and I’d say we are already in it.
Does global liquidity just happen to match up well to the 4 year halving cycles? It’s pretty wild that the halving and liquidity coincide like this, and that it’s easy to see a scenario where in the second half of 2024 and into 2025 sees another big spike up in liquidity.
The only way out of deficits and such high debt levels is more printing. And they will be forced to print into already high inflation, which will be led by energy prices (oil). Oil is set to rip because the SPR is being used to suppress oil prices and low shale supply.
Eventually, the bond market will start to figure out they’re the bag holders. And the dollar will be debased… into oblivion.

We must not be too far apart. I saw the spotted cow picture recently, and now the storm videos have me thinking you can’t too far away.
Happy for you. What a relief.
So true.
5 girls?? We are due with our 5th kid in 2 weeks. Don’t know yet if it’s girl #5 or boy #1.
Explore the fourth turning with him and its current implications. Enjoy your podcast a ton guys 🙏
Agree. Still think the base case is for a downturn if rates don’t reverse soon. But if things don’t tighten as everyone expects, it seems Bitcoin will grow at a quicker rate and accelerate.
