Yeah, I used to be all Southwest, but when they were as pricey as the others i switched to Delta because they seemed to still be the better of the US brands. I had to fly American this time only because of availability. It’s like picking which torture method you want to use. They are all gonna suck, just which sucks the least.

I feel like for some it’s not a “living within your means” kind of thing, but rather a poorly advised lifeline for when they show up to buy just the necessary Groceries on a budget of $100 and the tab comes to 150 or 160 because of inflation.
Don’t forget, despite what the Fed and White House are saying, we are still dealing with inflation.
But yes, many are still living beyond their means waiting for a government windfall.
However…what if I built an app and ran my own relays that I published to only for said app that allowed users to interact with it from other clients if adding my relay. That is then using the protocol as an open network as intended but also allowing for any number of additional use cases in which I control my data and don’t abuse it.
Nobody thought we’d send ourselves emails to remind us to take out the trash or dinner with the spouse since we have calendars…but here we are.
And this is why Damus has a report and block feature. 🫡
