This brings up an interesting point. Epstein was killed about 4 months before the pandemic started and I've always wondered if the two events were somehow related. I've likewise wondered what the reasons were for his arrest and death and one of the more interesting scenarios I could think of (as an armchair conspiritard) was that someone else wanted the tapes to run their own blackmail op. Maybe someone had big plans.

Chomsky's meetings were well after Epstein's conviction at a time when the words "Lolita Express" were firmly entrenched in the public's consciousness. The best that could be said for Noam is that he cared more about money than underage rape victims.

Chomsky is particularly sanctimonious though, even by academic standards.

Later he was asked to comment on Epstein donating money to his department at MIT and he went on a tirade about the Koch brothers being the worst criminals in human history (literally). The people who never left mainstream social media are a weird bunch, like creatures that have evolved to survive in a very particular and unhealthy environment, like deep sea fish who've lost all their bones. My wife was just forced to spend 5 minutes on Facebook after leaving her account dormant for years and now she wants to live off-grid.
