"So many ethical issues with running businesses" - indeed!

I'm fortunate in that my business is fairly niche and localised (I have about half a dozen competitors in a city of just over one million people) so I can mainly rely on organic search results, shop signage and word of mouth. I've tried social media and other things and haven't found they're worth the effort. On the other hand, my wife is pretty much able to run her entire business through Instagram, without even using hashtags.

Fun #progstr fact: the current government UFO psyop supposedly began back in 2007 when James Lacatski, a scientist with the Defense Intelligence Agency, visited Skinwalker Ranch where he claims to have seen a glowing yellow object which looked like the thing on the cover of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells.

Given that Tubular Bells became famous via the opening movement being used as the main theme in The Exorcist, I find the story highly suspect.

I unsubscribed from your mailing list because I resent you emailing me all the time. I don't need another email to confirm that I've unsubscribed.

His stupid "AI" algo is a con job and nobody is lining up to get their retina scanned in exchange for a few soon-to-be-worthless shitcoins. Sam Altman is a lying sack of crap.

Have they figured out who left Hunter Biden's coke at the White House yet or have we moved on to something else now?

Do you think they'll reach Moscow before Putin dies of cancer?

Ok, technically it wasn't actually Musk that posted this but one of his drones. Still - fuck off, Elon.

Lol, fuck off, Elon

I only have this screenshot to go by and I can't be bothered looking up the article, but it wouldn't surprise me that that these things appear to get dumber the more you try to cram them full of information because they have no actual intelligence to parse all that data - it's just looking for patterns. This is intelligence as defined by the "97% of scientists agree" crowd.

But hey - the fact that they've managed to build a computer that can't do maths is an incredible achievement in itself.

I don't know what the best way to achieve this would be, but something needs to be done. There's a lot I like about Nostr but it seems like it's becoming more and more myopic in its b*tcoin focus. People with other interests have either left or are posting less often and I can't remember the last time I found a new account I thought was worth following.
