It is too simple just to blame government. It doesn't give you incentives to think and analyze. and I don't think that government is inherently evil. just as we are all. thats why I often toxic here. because "bitcoiners" often think that they are smart just because they are embraced bitcoin or nostr.

There was no Zelenslky in power, no crimea annexation. no donbass. nothing. but the reasons he sees are internal russians reasons. political development in russia. Do you see were I'm going? there are so many bullshit and missinformation, like NATO expansions, ukrainian nazi, oppression of Donbas, opression of russians in ukraine, maidan, ukraine is a puppet of the west . it's impossible to get through all this bullshit and explain to outsiders what is real reasons of this war. because russia propaganda machine is huge and there thousands people generating fakes daily.

If you are not sending weapons to us it is not changing anything for us. In fact, first 3-4 months of the war there was'nt any help from the west. We still be fighting but with less success, because it is our country. I don't get how you see the war can ends after you not giving weapons to the side who is not aggressor in the first place.

I live in Ukraine since 90s. I speak russian in public. Never ever meet a single one fascist. Never had problems with russian lang. There was never a fascist party in parlament. I'm a progammer. I know a lot of super smart ukranian programmers and mathematicians. Don't you think that you can't picture all ukrainians from your friends reports? Also I think probably there are nazy in ukraine. Probably they are in your country. So what. It can somehow excuse invasion in your country?

If "Donbass fighters" were fighting alone they could not have lasted even a year. It was russian invasion from the beginnings. But I got your point. I think it is almost impossible to get the right picture if you are not living here and haven't seen all the details. In 2014 I saw in Kharkiv buses with russian numbers. russia brought people in to pose as demonstrators from Kharkiv against the Kiev government.

So. So called "Donbasniks" started coup against ukraine in april 2014. They claimed to be local fighters of the Donetsk People's Republic, but were actually Russian Armed Forces 'volunteers' under the command of Russian GRU colonel Igor Girkin ('Strelkov').
The same dude, Strelkov, participated in Crimea annexation. Later he said openly and bravery about all this. You can find interview with him in russian.
Probably all of Ukraine saw the video from Slavyansk in 2014 when one of the soldiers said the word [parebrik] (border). I, for example, heard this word for the first time, although I speak russian. It turned out that this word originated and used in the Leningrad region.

this is general abstract words. don't have nothing against them. But what do you do if 500 meters from you exploded 900 kg ballistic missile from country which invaded your country? will you say this same mantra to foreign soldiers or you will defend your home?
What a marasmatic world. I am Ukrainian, I lived in Kharkiv quietly until February 24, 22. That morning I heard explosions in my city. We started to defend the country, because what choice did we have? I had to leave the city, my wife lost her brother in the war, my boss lost his country private house. And now what? You're here suggesting to zap russians who lost their accounts in Europe. You think Ukrainians are nationalists because for some strange reason(!?) we don't like russians.
