Yup! It's just a simple .json file with a hex of your npub. You can also verify via a whole host of services if doing it yourself is a PITA.

I changed my NIP-05 a few times before I got my own domain set up as verification. You can change your name and NIP-05 as much as you want, your npub/nsec combo are your unique identifiers.
