Tidal could do this since they already have the in-house resources as a subsidiary of Block. It could also tie in with their ultimate goal of paying artists directly. Imagine giving an artist a portion of all zaps if their song is played.
True. It’s a good, quick and dirty solution while the platform is still growing.
Lower, yes, but it’s not foolproof and could contribute to someone getting scammed if Damus starts advertising it as a quasi security feature. What if all your “friends” follow an impersonator account because they realize it’s satire and find it funny, but you you’re not in on the joke? However, it could be that I’m missing a key concept. I still don’t understand all the basics of the Nostr protocol.
Good morning Nostr! 🌞#plebchain
It would be a good way to measure popularity/influence. It doesn’t mean they are legit. You can be an impersonator/scammer and have a lot of followers.
What’s your go to workout?
LOL! Where do you fall currently? 👀
Do you even have to ask?! Nigerian jollof is the best hands down.
Great! I take back what I said about #babechain.
Both of my parents are Nigerian, so I’m definitely not afraid of trying different types of cuisine.
#babechain sounds thirsty and attention seeking or is it just a place for women to interact with one another on Nostr?
I would feel greedy if I went only zaps even though 100 sats is only a penny, lol.
These days, I avoid overdoing carbs, but when I treat myself, I tend to make comfort foods like mac and cheese, pot pies, cookies, cakes, etc.
Based on these responses, I can confidently say that I’m a pleb. There’s so much slang used here that I’ve misinterpreted, so I wanted to ask nostrverse for an explanation. Thanks guys!
Couldn’t agree more!
Long hot showers, home cooked meals, and good conversation
So being a #pleb is more about having a certain state of mind?
