Here for the ride and zaps ⚡️

Aww!! Are you sure you’re not coming down with something?

Ha! Are you in the picture?

I don’t know, lol. They say that you never forget how to ride a bike, and I couldn’t keep one in a straight line last week.

Un peu…j’ai étudié le français du collège jusqu'à l'université, et j’ai étudié à l'étranger…However, all that time was wasted because I can barely say hello in French now.

I’m no expert (yet), but I would guess that they both probably give you a bump of dopamine which may or may not make using the app more fun or “addictive”. I find it more exciting to receive zaps honestly, but will take likes.

I could see how it may be helpful for some people, possibly provide them a chance to work through any emotions, regrets, or traumas, but ultimately radical acceptance is part of the grieving process.

Overall, I don’t like how society is moving towards more manufactured experiences. There is no substitute for real life, genuine human connection. It’s part of the reason why people can have thousands of online friends and still feel lonely and miserable. I imagine a computer impersonating a human being isn’t much better.

Right!!! I’ve just accepted my ID photos will always be funny looking.

What relays allow you to delete posts?

This meme is accurate, lol. I don’t have time to waste. I only use my cast iron skillet for cornbread on family holidays.

Hodge podge really. I grew up Christian but don’t consider myself one anymore. However, I’ll read a chapter from Proverbs or Psalms every now and then. I keep an ancestor altar, meditate daily, and pray nightly.

No

Good. The more I learn about Nostr the more confused I get. Sometimes I think that I understand things, then I find out that I don’t, lol.

I know Nostr is not a social network, but am I wrong for thinking of Damus as one?
