You work hard your whole life and try to leave something of a legacy for your progeny when you die, and government takes a pretty big piece.
That might be the most reprehensible of all the types of taxation.

They should keep those on ambulances in the summer. When somebody is having heat stroke you could pop one of those in their pooper and cool them right down.

I gotta get that citrine running. Been to lazy to install it and set it up.
I have no idea why the dryer has a 'Heavy Duty' setting. What would require heavy duty drying?

It's a self-centered act, and so in defending it it's important to keep the focus on the mother's body and not on the unborn infant being murdered.
I live in a housing development where most of the lots are 1-2 acres and people have chickens, cows, horses, goats...
This is the way.
Scientists Were Wrong: Plants Absorb 31% More CO2 Than Previously Thought
And that number goes even higher if atmospheric CO2 goes higher.
Increasing atmospheric CO2 increases photosynthesis and the world gets greener, increasing the capacity to absorb even more CO2.

Cheap and plentiful energy is good and enables human prosperity.
I'm not convinced that the Earth being 1-2 degrees warmer on average is at all catastrophic.
I'm also not convinced that human activity affects the climate more than natural factors like fluctuations in solar activity.
These people are insane.

While touching some grass this weekend, I got bit by fire ants (again) π.
These bites are really itchy. They blister and can take up to 2 weeks to heal.
I'm noting the treatment protocol again, with additional details for future reference and in case someone else may find it useful
1. Immediately soak in "as hot as you can stand" hot water. This is supposed to help draw out the venom.
2. Apply a paste of bentonite clay/water and wrap with gauze/wear a sock. (Turmeric also works to reduce itching, but the clay seemed longer lasting. Bentonite Clay is negatively charged which can attract and draw out the positive charged venom toxins). Repeat AM and PM until itching subsides.
3. Do not pop the blisters... Not sure why, but nostr:nprofile1qqs2x5zagu9c34d3yqkaem2n9kzxn4vejus99hkz4ysxzxvnefdqucqprpmhxue69uhkc6t8dp6xu6twvaex2mrp0yhxxmmdqythwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnxd46zuamf0ghxy6t6qy8hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddaks8gd3kh advised against it... And it healed without scarring.
If you have any natural tips for faster healing/itch relief, please leave a comment π

Do you have fire ants in your back yard or were you out somewhere?
Huge conflict of interest and it gets pointed out all the time, but nobody ever does anything about it.
Banks hire former SEC regulators. You know that the job was offered to the regulator while they were in office as a quid pro quo.
Same with the FDA and pharmaceutical companies.
What if government employees working in top positions for regulatory agencies like the FDA and SEC were banned from working in the industries the regulate for ten years after leaving office?
How would news coverage of the COVID scamdemic been different if pharmaceutical ads were illegal and therefore the news companies weren't receiving the bulk of their ad revenue from the pharmaceutical companies?

In the hot months I drink 2-3 cups of coffee, but when the weather turns cold it's more like 6-8 cups. Also I never drink coffee in a mug smaller than 16oz.
