No. That’s more than full reserve. Fractional reserve means that you have only a fraction of the assets that you owe.

Fractional reserve is when a bank has $100 deposits and uses this to back a $1000 credit.

Or when a central bank gives out 100 ounces worth of gold notes and only has 1 ounce in the vault.

Actually it is. There are two ways to fractional reserve:

1.) Lend out more money than you have.

2.) Give out certificates for more assets than you own.

If you give someone money to lend out that is a contract. But if somebody lends out your money more than once that is fraud.

Because now there are multiple claims to the same property.

I think you are right to some degree, I've been thinking a lot about this lately

Sometimes we think that being reactionary or having a believe that is not well grounded on data is something bad, I'm not so sure.

I think is an heuristic and as such it has it's flaws but can be of real use in cases when you dont have enough information or you need to act fast. Also for situations where the right answer is counterintuitive or come after some sort of point of no return has been reached. 🤔

In those cases even if it was just by chance, that strategy can be useful

so some people see lab grown meat as an extension of the green/woke movement and hate it for that reason alone??

Why are so many people in my feed anti lab grown meat?

You can’t spend any kind of time w/an animal and not see that they have just as much of a soul as you and I do.

I would love to be a vegan, but my health issues make that a horrible idea. I can’t want for the lab grown meat!
